Thomas Povinelli
Founder & CEO
Thomas Povinelli founded Pinnacle Taxx Advisors in 2002 after beginning his career in tax preparation and financial planning in 1981. Over the decades, Tom has built his practice around a practical understanding of how taxes, investments, retirement planning, and life decisions all intersect.
After helping grow and later sell the broker-dealer his team founded, Tom chose to refocus on the work he values most: advising clients directly. Today, he brings that same hands-on perspective to a select group of clients, helping them solve problems, identify opportunities, and make confident decisions about their financial future.
Charles Wild, CFP®
Managing Partner & Director of Investment Strategy
As a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional with industry experience dating back to 1999, Chuck enjoys the personal aspect of his work most. He specializes in empowering individuals and small business owners by blending creative tax strategies with holistic financial planning designed to grow wealth securely and shield it from the unexpected. The results are a blueprint to help minimize taxes, maximize growth and unlock financial freedom.
Chuck thrives on face-to-face connections and solving complex financial puzzles to create straightforward plans of action. When he’s not helping clients, you’ll find him at the race track, in the garage or judging classic car shows. Chuck stays active by playing ice hockey, pickleball, padel, hiking, skiing and cycling.

Sarah has been with Pinnacle Taxx for over twenty years providing exceptional customer service to clientele as a professional tax preparer, registered assistant and receptionist.
Sarah’s highly organized style and attention to detail shows in how she handles client issues of all types.
Frederick Hill III
Associate Advisor & Tax Preparer
Originally from the Annapolis, MD area and a graduate of South Carolina University, Fred is an avid sports fan. He’s a lifelong athlete that brings his passion for competition to work every day.
Already achieving his Series 65 and insurance licenses, Fred has earned roles as associate advisor, client outreach lead and customer service provider as well as tax preparer.
When the workday ends, Fred is off to the gym, softball field or basketball court to keep his energy level high and mind sharp.
Richard Costabile
Tax Preparer
Rich’s extensive experience in business tax preparation crosses over into personal income tax to provide clients with a seamless tax plan.
Starting on the corporate side of tax planning straight out of college, Rich developed his knowledge base that he often draws on when working with individuals and small business owners.
Skiing, pickleball and padel are a few ways Rich stays busy out of the office.
